Harald „Harry“ Evers was born in Munich, Germany in 1957 and died on November 30, 2006. His whole life he was occupied with myths, legends and stories, mostly about protagonists who were on a quest, plagued by self-doubt, or had to fight against special odds. His graphic adventure „The Cave World“ as well as his localizations of two Funcom adventures cemented his reputation as one of the few experts on computer games in that era. But soon he turned exclusively to writing and created the saga that would make him immortal. „The Caveworld-Saga“ is Evers‘ main work, his opus magnum.

The 8 volumes of the Cave World Saga were published by HEYNE Publishing and created a large fan community that met at conventions and other events and populated a very lively forum. His death caught the community off guard and for many fans a world collapsed.

Harald’s biggest dream was to translate “The Caveworld-Saga“ into English to tell his story to the world. Unfortunately, his dream died with his death. We want to change this.

For this endeavor Rael Wissdorf stepped into the project. He edited the old books to bring them on a modern state of narration, and wrote an entire 9th novel completely alone – as a prequel. This fantasy book, titled „The Legacy of the Dragonlord“ gives some important explanations to some ongoings in the starting Novel „The Brotherhood of Yoor“.
